NY PLAYS Grant
New York has launched the NY PLAYS (Places for Learning, Activity, and Youth Socialization) Initiative, a $67.5 million competitive grant program that funds the design, construction, and renovation of public playgrounds across the state. The program focuses on creating safe, welcoming spaces that encourage physical activity, well-being, and social connection for children and families.
Application window: May 4 – June 15, 2026
